This paper presents a narrative review of journal articles examining the integrating or segregating role of Muslim organisations in the integration process of migrants in Europe. To achieve our goal, we conducted an extensive search of the electronic databases of relevant journals and analysed the findings of the articles regarding the orientations of Muslim organisations. Our focus was on three dimensions of integration, namely: the economic, socio-cultural, and political dimensions of immigrant integration. The reviewed literature reveals a nuanced causal relationship between Muslim organisations and immigrant integration, exploring the contribution of these organisations and emphasising their potential to either act as bridges between migrant communities and their societies of settlement or reinforce social divisions.
