This article presents the findings of the third iteration of the "Oficinas Viver com Vital_idade" (Living with Vitality Workshops) project, which was promoted by the Local Learning Centers (CLA) of the Open University in Portugal. The initiative's objective is to promote active and healthy ageing through Lifelong Learning (LLL), developed in environments mediated by digital technologies. The primary objective of this mixed-method research was to analyze the perceptions of older participants regarding the influence of LLL in a digital context on their active and healthy ageing process, promoted by accessible and contextualized technological resources. In a context characterized by demographic ageing and the increasing digitalization of society, the project constitutes a form of social entrepreneurship, mobilizing community resources and specialized knowledge to facilitate themed workshops. The objective of these workshops is to empower senior citizens, promoting autonomy, self-determination, and active involvement in their ageing process from a holistic self-care perspective. The data collected indicate a high level of satisfaction with participation in the workshops, as well as an appreciation of topics related to health and well-being. The findings of this study indicate that ALV exerts a positive influence on the promotion of autonomy, self-esteem, and digital inclusion. The results are analyzed considering theoretical references on active ageing, social entrepreneurship, and digital inclusion, highlighting the role of ALV as an instrument for social innovation and the promotion of citizenship and civic participation among older people.
