| dc.description.abstract | O P.e Henri Bremond criou, no início do séc. XX, a expressão «invasão mística» para referir a vaga de experiências místicas que encheram o séc. XVII francês. Depois dele, outros autores usaram-na para mencionar outras vagas místicas, de outros espaços e doutros tempos. Portugal também conheceu uma vaga semelhante, de meados de quinhentos a meados de setecentos, bem testemunhada pelas crónicas, mas que permanece, hoje, um universo esquecido. É verdade que, no início dessa vaga, houve o caso da «Monja de Lisboa» que acabou por lançar a suspeição sobre qualquer tipo de manifestação mística. As simulações e os casos de falsa santidade não terminaram aí, mas umas e outros não devem ofuscar as verdadeiras experiências místicas que aconteceram e que aqui queremos abordar de modo exploratório. | pt_PT |

Henri Bremond created, at the beginning of the 20th century, the expression «mystical invasion» to refer to the wave of mystical experiences that filled the French 17th century. After him, other authors used it to mention other mystical waves, from other spaces and times. Portugal also experienced a similar wave, from the mid-15th century to the mid-17th century, well witnessed by the chronicles, but which remains, today, a forgotten universe. It is true that, at the beginning of this wave, there was the case of the «Nun of Lisbon» who ended up casting suspicion on any type of mystical manifestation. The simulations and cases of false sanctity did not end there, but some should not overshadow the true mystical experiences that took place and that we want to address here in an exploratory way. | pt_PT |
