| dc.description.abstract | A descoberta do tĆŗmulo de Tutankhamon, em 1922, foi noticiada pela imprensa internacional, de forma inusitada, tornando este faraĆ³ e o arqueĆ³logo responsĆ”vel pelo achado sobejamente conhecidos de milhƵes de leitores. Ironicamente, Tutankhamon era um dos faraĆ³s menos conhecidos da histĆ³ria egĆpcia e Howard Carter um arqueĆ³logo sem crĆ©ditos firmados que, assim, literalmente de um dia para o outro, passaram da obscuridade para as pĆ”ginas dos periĆ³dicos. Na imprensa portuguesa, a partir de 1925, a revista DiĆ³nysos reservou espaƧo em trĆŖs nĆŗmeros para pequenos ensaios, genericamente intitulados āQuem era Tutankhamenā, da autoria de Humberto Pinto de Lima, entĆ£o Assistente de CiĆŖncias HistĆ³ricas da Faculdade de Letras da Universidade do Porto. Neste artigo apresenta-se uma anĆ”lise detalhada desses textos, relevando o domĆnio cientĆfico das problemĆ”ticas pelo Autor e o seu contributo para a discussĆ£o dos temas de histĆ³ria egĆpcia entre nĆ³s. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | The discovery of Tutankhamunās tomb, in 1922, was reported, in an unusual way, by the international press, making this pharaoh and the archaeologist responsible for the finding very well known to millions of readers. Ironically, Tutankhamun was one of the less known pharaohs of ancient Egyptās history and Howard Carter an archaeologist without consolidated credits that suddenly went from obscurity to the pages of the periodicals. In the Portuguese press, from 1925, the journal DiĆ³nysos reserved a space, in three numbers, to small essays generically entitled āQuem era Tutankhamenā, by Humberto Pinto de Lima, at the time an Assistant in Historical Sciences of the Faculty of Letters of the University of Porto. In this article a detailed analysis of those texts is presented, revealing the scientifically domain of the author of the problematics and his contribution to the discussion of the themes of Egyptian history among us. | pt_PT |
