Abstract(s)
A presente dissertação tem como objetivo traçar o perfil de liderança de um diretor escolar, utilizando a metodologia de jobshadowing. Para isto, foi escolhido um caso de estudo no concelho de Lisboa. Para aplicação da metodologia de investigação, recorreuse a grelhas de observação, tendo sido observados três dias inteiros, uma manhã, uma tarde e dois dias de evento nas imediações do agrupamento. As grelhas foram analisadas num primeiro momento de discussão de resultados e foi realizada uma entrevista ao diretor. Na segunda fase de investigação, foi realizada análise à entrevista. Por fim, os dados da observação e da entrevista foram cruzados para se retirarem conclusões de investigação para o perfil de liderança. A partir de ambas as metodologias, foi possível apontar para um perfil de liderança relacional, em que o diretor tem a preocupação pelo bem-estar da comunidade de escolar. Por outro lado, são realizadas reflexões sobre a
metodologia de jobshadowing e a sua pertinência no âmbito de estudos em administração escolar.

To apply the research methodology, observation grids were used, with three full days, one morning, one afternoon, and two days of events in the vicinity of the school cluster being observed. The grids were analyzed in a first moment of discussion of results, and an interview with the director was conducted. In the second phase of the investigation, an analysis of the interview was carried out. Finally, the data from the observation and the interview were cross-referenced to draw research conclusions for the leadership profile. From both methodologies, it was possible to point to a relational leadership profile, where the director is concerned with the well-being of the school community. On the other hand, reflections are made about the jobshadowing methodology and its relevance in the field of school administration studies.
