O Trabalho de Projeto realizado procurou analisar e colocar em prática
atividades da Biblioteca Escolar no âmbito do Plano Nacional das Artista e um
projeto como Artista Residente, no agrupamento Ibn Mucana. A temática
abordada foca o programa da Biblioteca Escolar e como este pode integrar
com as atividades artísticas e ativar participantes a explorar os recursos da
Biblioteca em conjunto com uma oficina de gravura. O projeto de investigação
permitiu estudar as possibilidades que uma Biblioteca Escolar, em conjunto
com um/a Artista Residente, pode desenvolver no âmbito de animações e
atividades para promover a leitura, o hábito de pesquisa e abrir espaço para o
utilizador explorar os recursos e também criar recursos.
Numa primeira parte deste relatório apresentamos um enquadramento do
projeto, abordando alguns elementos relacionados com o papel da biblioteca
escolar, o Plano Nacional das Artes e o papel da Artista Residente. Na segunda
parte descrevemos e analisamos as atividades realizadas, e os instrumentos
de recolha de dados para avaliação das ações pelos participantes. Em especial
a oficina de gravura possibilitou aos alunos utilizarem essa forma de expressão
como ferramenta para criar linguagens visuais e assim traçar uma ponte entre
a linguagem visual, a linguagem escrita e também a verbal. O conceito de
criatividade neste projeto indicou caminhos para elementos importantes sobre a
literacia visual, a literacia da informação, a construção de conhecimento e por
conseguinte a emancipação, funções fundamentais que a Biblioteca Escolar
pretende oferecer e também vai ao encontro do enunciado no Perfil dos Alunos
à Saída da Escolaridade Obrigatória. Os resultados obtidos revelam a
pertinência de ações como a que realizamos neste projeto.
The Project carried out sought to analyze and put into practice activities of the School Library within the scope of the National Arts Plan and a project as Resident Artist, in the Ibn Mucana group of schools. The topic addressed focuses on the School Library program and how it can integrate with artistic activities and enable participants to explore the Library's resources in conjunction with an engraving workshop. The research project made it possible to study the possibility that a School Library, together with an Artist in Residence, can develop in the context of animations and activities to promote reading, the habit of searching and open space for the user to explore the resources and also create resources. In the first part of this report, we present an overview of the project, addressing some elements related to the role of the school library, the National Arts Plan and the role of the Resident Artist. In the second part we describe and analyze the activities carried out, and the data collection instruments for evaluating the actions by the participants. In particular, the engraving workshop enabled students to use this form of expression as a tool to create visual languages and thus draw a bridge between visual language, written language and also verbal language. The concept of creativity in this project indicated ways for important elements on visual literacy, information literacy, knowledge construction and therefore emancipation, fundamental functions that the School Library intends to offer and also meets the statement in the Student Profile on Leaving Compulsory Schooling. The results obtained reveal the pertinence of actions such as the one we carried out in this project.
