| dc.description.abstract | Esta investigação analisou a integração da diversidade linguística e da interculturalidade no ensino de Português Língua Não Materna, comparativamente ao ensino português dentro e fora de Portugal, Timor-Leste e África do Sul. Através de uma grelha documental, analisou-se as Aprendizagens Essenciais e o Programa EPE B1, conjuntamente com três manuais “Português ConVida B1”, “Português XXI 3” e “Português em Foco 2”. Pretendeu-se investigar se havia valorização das variedades do português e se eram respeitadas as especificidades de cada contexto, integrando-se o plurilinguismo local como recurso pedagógico. Na análise, articulou-se o enquadramento teórico (inclusão, equidade, interculturalidade, adaptação curricular e o papel do professor) com aquilo que os documentos espelhavam na realidade. Como resultado, chegou-se à conclusão de que existem desvios no que diz respeito aos princípios da inclusão e da equidade, pois há uma grande predominância da norma europeia, a abordagem é descritiva, há uma fraca valorização da língua materna dos alunos, e a ausência de atividades que contrastem com as línguas. Embora os programas e manuais tenham uma base linguística sólida verificou-se que é insuficiente para uma pedagogia plurilingue e intercultural. | dc.description.abstract | This study examined the integration of linguistic diversity and interculturality in the teaching of Portuguese as a Non-Native Language (PLNM), comparing it with the teaching of Portuguese both within and outside Portugal, in Timor-Leste, and in South Africa. Using a documentary grid, the analysis focused on the Essential Learnings and the EPE B1 Programme, together with three textbooks: “Português ConVida B1”, “Português XXI 3”, and “Português em Foco 2”. The aim was to investigate whether the different varieties of Portuguese were valued and whether the specific characteristics of each context were respected, integrating local plurilingualism as a pedagogical resource. The analysis connected the theoretical framework (inclusion, equity, interculturality, curriculum adaptation, and the role of the teacher) with what the documents actually reflected in practice. The results revealed deviations from the principles of inclusion and equity. There is a strong predominance of the European norm, the approach is largely descriptive, there is little appreciation of the students’ mother tongues (L1), and there is a lack of activities that promote contrastive language awareness. Although the programmes and textbooks demonstrate a solid linguistic foundation, they were found to be insufficient for a truly plurilingual and intercultural pedagogy.
