Abstract(s)

It prepares students for their integration in society with the recognition and raise awareness of the full-fledged citizens of the World. The subject Education for Citizenship at School and, more specifically, at the School Library contributes to form fairer, more balanced and attentive citizens to relevant issues like social exclusion and their recognition of being a citizen. The first part of the study reflects on a set of themes that frame the problem analyzed with special focus on the concepts and role of the School Library and Citizenship education.
