Abstract(s)
No processo conclusivo desta
Aiming to collaborate in the process of inclusive education for all with significance, this doctoral dissertation sought to highlight whether students with disabilities in elementary schools in Taquara-RS are being offered the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs), since these are pedagogical resources, facilitators for learning in cases of sensorimotor and cognitive deficit, as well as instruments capable of giving greater autonomy, dignity to its users, asserting their rights in the face of a globalized education, contemplating the all regardless of the differences. This study aimed to characterize the use of technologies with a view to including students with disabilities in the schools mentioned above. The methodology used was the quantitative and qualitative research, with the objective of obtaining a better understanding of the phenomena to be investigated, having as techniques of data collection, questionnaire inquiry and semi-structured interview, and as participants, the director of the Secretariat of Special Education of the Municipality, full and support teachers of sixteen schools. In the concluding process of this investigation, we sought to respond to specific objectives, namely: survey of technological resources available in schools; knowledge of teachers' perceptions of their level of competence in the use of these technological resources, together with the teaching-learning context in front of students; Finally, the various stakeholders' perspectives on the limitations of existing resources and / or barriers to their effective use were analyzed. The main results point to a greater sensitization of the Federal and Municipal Governments to make an inclusion of rights as advocated by the international and national laws, providing greater training to the faculty and access to the use of information and communication technologies. classroom. As it has been a pioneer research in these educational institutions, and being aware that the investigative process is a continuous work, many new studies will emerge, in the sense of a greater scientific basis on the guiding and conclusive questions of this research.
