Este documento tem como objetivo informar as instituições europeias, bem como os responsáveis e decisores políticos, relativamente às questões que se prendem com uma abordagem integrada e holística da aprendizagem ao longo da vida. Além disso, apresenta, de forma aprofundada, o contexto desta temática e partilha algumas recomendações sobre o modo como se podem implementar sistemas de aprendizagem ao longo da vida nos níveis local, regional e nacional. O documento visa igualmente reforçar a consciência relativamente aos principais assuntos em destaque e as práticas existentes, tendo em vista a tomada de decisões que se revelem necessárias ou a conclusão de projetos similares em curso. Neste sentido, o documento enquadra o contexto atual da aprendizagem na Europa, fornecendo alguns exemplos de desenvolvimentos recentes de serviços comunitários em educação.
This briefing paper aims to inform European Institutions as well as national policy and decision makers on the issue of integrated and holistic approach to lifelong learning. It also provides the context at a high level and share a few recommendations on ways to establish lifelong learning systems at local, regional and national level. This briefing paper helps raising awareness about the main highlights and existing practice in order to make any necessary decisions or complete any similar ongoing work in this respect. The paper elaborates on the current context of learning in Europe, bringing a few examples of recent developments of community based services in education.
