Abstract(s)
estudantes.
The objective of this doctoral thesis is to present an artifact that allows improving learning in musical initiation through the association of sound with colors. It was established as a research problem, how to use a chromatic artifact to facilitate the musical initiation in clarinet? Thus, a synesthetic approach is sought to combine auditory and visual expression. The work, which presented an inductive methodology, resulted in an artifact that allows converting the sound emission of the seven notes on the clarinet into colored lights based on the seven colors of the rainbow and its implementation in the practice of musical initiation. The artifact was developed from specific algorithms applied to a board using an appropriate software, the Arduino. Its implementation in the classroom increased the students' motivation and the memorization of these notes. The present research made it possible to conclude that the association of music and technology through the artifact called Notas em Cores is of great relevance both for the process of musical initiation and for the motivation of students.
