Abstract(s)
associado as bibliotecas express.
The advancement of information and communication technologies (TICs) has been an evolutionary process with several improvements. Technologies have come to support a large part of business worldwide and have also influenced the different forms of work within the population. The profile and social requirements of the current worker, has a tendency to a growing bet on the use of mobile devices due to the facilities provided by them, as an example of the application of these devices, there is the distance learning process where students can access academic content, consultations medics online, and can interact with health professionals and teachers through a cell phone. Mobile devices have become powerful tools for accessing and sharing information, however, due to their ease of mobility, they have taken on the role of virtual classrooms, workstations, laser environments, casinos, etc. The Open University (UAb) has been following this evolution, so much so that it currently uses moodle and other Web systems to support internal activities and to connect with students. Although web applications run on mobile devices, native applications can be used as an extension of access to the contents of web applications. In the case of the UAb, it does not yet have a mobile application focused on the needs of the students, in the student-institution connection, for example, the data from the moodle system, the academic management system (SGA), financial and others, are accessed from applications different webs, which forces the student to visit and compile information from various platforms. It is intended to develop a mobile application capable of incorporating integrated information existing on the portal and other platforms in a single application. The front-end part of the application will be developed with React Native, due to its simplicity, ease and possibility of parallel development of the IOS and Android versions through the same project, while the back-end will be used by Nodejs. With the implementation of this solution, it is expected to create facilities for connecting students from the UAb to the institution, so that they can access the information on the Webs systems.
