Abstract(s)
The corporate LMS is suitable for managing and providing the company-wide constitution for employees to develop professional knowledge and skills, maintain certifications, and comply with government and state laws. This system also educates non-employees, such as associates, customers, and sales managers, about a company's services and products. The use of LMS in an enterprise context is a differentiating element in information and knowledge systems. This type of system allows online learning programs to be developed, delivered, and monitored by an entire organization. Sometimes, companies face difficulties in selecting a LMS, considering their context, the need for human resources, their requirements, the creation of value, and the integration of existing systems. In this context, it is considered important to study these systems, analyze their context, and propose a Framework for adopting a LMS in a company so that managers, human resources specialists, and training specialists can have more certainty in their decision-making. This research aims to identify the strategy and results, starting with a systematic literature review according to Barbara Kitchenham's protocol and applying a survey to analyze and extract data from 38 responses. By analyzing the results obtained, the research presents findings on: What reference models or frameworks exist for implementing a LMS in an enterprise context? How can the LMS be implemented in an enterprise context? What are the main benefits and challenges of a LMS in a company? The conclusions present the main limitations of this research and some recommendations for future work.
