- Participação em fóruns e a avaliação final de uma unidade curricular lecionada em elearning: que relação?Publication . Santos, José Rui; Rocha, Maria Antonieta; Henriques, Isabel; Santos, Maria da GlóriaThis paper is the result of a study which sought to understand the relationship between the participation in the discussion forums of the formative activities of a curricular unit, part of a higher education course taught under elearning, and the dimension of the success obtained by the students in this unit with compulsory continuous assessment. Through use of Microsoft Excel for the gathering and presentation of the data in this descriptive exploratory research, we analyzed the evaluations obtained in the formative learning activities by the students, comparing them with the results of the efolios and final marks, trying thus to establish relationships between these results. The main conclusion to retain is that there is a direct connection between the quantity / quality of students’ participation and the final mark obtained by each one of them.
