Abstract(s)
Esta investigação enquadra-se no paradigma qualitativo e parte do questionamento
sobre uma prática artística para trazer para um plano reflexivo a presença das Artes em
comunhão com a Interculturalidade num contexto de Ensino Superior Politécnico.
Tendo como partida a unidade curricular (u.c.) de Performance Criativa, presente no 2.º
ano no plano de estudos do curso de Publicidade e Relações Públicas (P.R.P.) da Escola
Superior de Educação de Viseu, foi desenvolvido um percurso formativo onde se
explorou uma prática performativa tendo como tema de fundo a Interculturalidade.
Este percurso teve a duração de um semestre letivo no qual participaram todos os
discentes do 2.º ano do curso. Um percurso que teve na sua raiz uma vivência artística e
performativa na qual foram experienciadas as linguagens do drama, do movimento, da
expressão corporal, do Teatro, da escrita, culminando numa performance de rua.
Esta investigação qualitativa fez uso de instrumentos e de uma metodologia que se
concentrou na procura de informação para dar resposta à questão sobre as ligações que
poderão ser estabelecidas quando falamos de Performance e de Interculturalidade num
contexto de formação não artística.
Com este estudo procuramos o reforço das Artes nos currículos de formação não
artística. Tendo como ponto de partida uma unidade curricular artística, que funcionou
como um instrumento para o desenvolvimento da educação artística no Ensino Superior
Politécnico, realçamos a importância da prática artística como uma componente fulcral
na formação do aluno e fortalecemos as ligações entre o universo artístico e a dimensão
cultural, presente através da Interculturalidade, onde lançamos propostas concretas que
possam inspirar e ampliar a presença das Artes em outros contextos.
This study was conducted under the qualitative paradigm and starts by questioning an artistic practice to bring to a reflexive stance the presence of the arts, in communion with the concept of interculturality, in polytechnic higher education. For the curricular unit of Creative Performance, in the 2nd year of the study plan of the program Advertising and Public Relations, from the Escola Superior de Educação de Viseu, a formative plan was devised in which a performative practice was explored having as latent theme: Interculturality. This plan lasted for one semester during which all the students of the 2nd year of the program participated in the experience. A plan that was rooted as an artistic and performative experience in which the languages of drama, movement, body expression, theater and writing were experienced. This experience culminated in a street performance. This qualitative research made use of instruments and a methodology that focused on the search for information to answer the question: what links can be found when we speak of performance and interculturality in a non-artistic education context. With this study we seek the reinforcement of the Arts in non-artistic curricula. Having as its starting point an artistic curricular unit, which functioned as an instrument for the development of artistic education in Polytechnic Higher Education, we emphasize the importance of artistic practice as a key component in the student's formation and strengthen the links between the artistic universe and the cultural dimension, present through Interculturality, where we launch concrete proposals that can inspire and expand the presence of Arts in other contexts.
