Abstract(s)
O
“FAZENDinho – o Fazendo dos pequeninos”, publicado desde
dezembro de 2014, é o suplemento para crianças da publicação mensal
“Fazendo – o boletim do que por cá se faz”,
que
sai
às
ruas
dos
Açores
desde
2008.
Ambos
são
gratuitos,
comunitários,
não
lucrativos
e
politicamente
independentes.
A
missão
do
FAZENDinho
é
proporcionar
momentos
de
diversão,
sensibilização,
cultura
e
aprendizagem
lúdica
e
criativa,
na
exploração
de
temáticas,
maioritariamente,
relacionadas
o
património
natural
e
cultural
dos
Açores,
sob
uma
lente
de
Sustentabilidade.
Em
agosto
de
2011,
a
Secretaria
e
a
Direção
Regional
de
Educação
e
Formação
dos
Açores
publica
o
Referencial
Curricular
para
a
Educação
Básica
na
Região
Autónoma
dos
Açores,
cujos
temas
transversais
são
o
Desenvolvimento
Sustentável
e
a
Açorianidade,
porque
o
conhecimento
é
fator
indispensável
à
preservação
do
Património.
Porém,
se
por
um
lado,
no
papel
estão
definidas
intenções,
por
outro
e
muitas
vezes,
estas
são
atropeladas
pela
força
da
exigência
dos
conteúdos
programáticos,
que
não
deixa
aos
professores
disponibilidade
para
preparar
materiais
não
obrigatórios
com
conteúdos
não
avaliados.
Com
este
estudo,
pretendeu-‐se
melhorar
a
produção
do
FAZENDinho
e,
ainda,
perceber
se
fará
sentido
este
material,
de
comunicação
e
educação
não
formal,
ser
adotado
como
ferramenta
na
educação
formal
e
que
resultados
poderão
ser
esperados.
Para
esse
efeito,
foi
aplicada
uma
metodologia
mista
quantitativa
e
qualitativa
(questionários
e
entrevistas).
Após
a
exploração
orientada
deste
suplemento,
na
disciplina
de
Desenvolvimento
Pessoal
e
Social
em
turmas
do
segundo
ciclo,
foram
aplicados
questionários
aos
alunos
e
entrevistas
aos
professores
envolvidos.
Com
a
análise
dos
resultados
aspira-‐se
a
inovação
em
termos
de
conteúdos
e
respetivas
formas
de
exploração
do
FAZENDinho,
bem
como
a
partilha
de
saberes
e
materiais
entre
a
educação
formal
e
não
formal,
com
vista
a
um
melhor
desenvolvimento
da
Educação
para
o
Desenvolvimento
Sustentável
dos
jovens
açorianos.
The "FAZENDinho - Fazendo of the little ones", published since December of 2014, is the supplement for children of the monthly publication "Fazendo - the bulletin of what is done here", which has been distributed in Azorean streets since 2008. Both are free, Non-profit and politically independent. FAZENDinho's mission is to provide moments of fun, sensitization, culture, playful and creative learning in the exploration of themes, mainly related to the natural and cultural heritage of the Azores, under a lens of Sustainability. In August 2011, the Azorean Regional Education Secretary published the Curricular Framework for Basic Education in the Autonomous Region of the Azores, which cross-‐cutting themes are Sustainable Development and Azorianity, because knowledge is an indispensable factor for preservation of the Patrimony. However, if on one hand, intentions are defined on the other, and often, these are run over by the force of the program content requirements, which not leave teachers available to prepare non-‐compulsory materials with unvalued content. With this study, it was intended to improve the production of the FAZENDinho and also to see if this material will make sense, of communication and non-‐formal education, be adopted as a tool in the formal education and what results can be expected. For this purpose, a mixed quantitative and qualitative methodology was applied (questionnaires and interviews). After the guided exploration of this supplement, in the 5th and 6th grade of Personal and Social Development subject, questionnaires were applied to the students and interviews to the teachers involved. With the analysis of the results, it is hoped to innovate in terms of content and respective forms of exploitation of the FAZENDinho, as well as the sharing of knowledge and materials between formal and non-‐formal education, with a view to a better development of Education for Sustainable Development of Azorean youth.
