Impacto das práticas de arte educação em contextos diferenciados de ajuda humanitária : aproximações e diferenças a partir de dois estudos de caso

Abstract

Este trabalho apresenta dois estudos de caso de educação não-formal com grupos distintos de crianças em duas situações de ação humanitária – uma de conflito armado (crianças refugiadas da guerra civil na Síria e órfãos) e outra de catástrofe natural (terramoto no Nepal) – em que Organizações não Governamentais (ONG) adotaram práticas de Arte Educação no alívio aos traumas daí resultantes. Os dois casos diferenciam-se quanto à fase em que as práticas de Arte Educação foram introduzidas, sendo que no primeiro caso a intervenção foi feita no estágio de ajuda ao desenvolvimento, e no segundo caso a intervenção aconteceu logo na fase de emergência. O ponto comum é a intervenção de Organizações não Governamentais e voluntários como atores no alívio às consequências das crises.

This dissertation presents two case studies of non formal education with two different groups of children in two situations of humanitarian action – one of armed conflict (refugee children from the Syrian civil war and orphans) and the other of natural disaster (earthquake in Nepal) – where Art Education practices have been adopted in trauma relief by non governmental organizations. The two cases differentiate about when the Art Education practices were introduced in the assistance process, as in the first case the intervention was made during the development stage, whilst on the second case the intervention was made on the emergency’s immediate aftermath. Common to both cases is the intervention of Non Governmental Organizations (NGO) and their volunteers in the field as actors in the crises for relief.
