[S.l.]: [s.n.], 2022. 179 p.http://hdl.handle.net/10400.2/12558Esta investigação procura ampliar o conhecimento da realidade psicossocial de mulheres que, em contexto de migração forçada, chegaram a Portugal, explorando as principais dificuldades do percurso migratório e os principais fatores protetores que facilitaram os seus processos de resiliência, adaptação e integração social. Para tal, foram relevados os significados que as protagonistas atribuem às suas experiências, recolhidos através de nove entrevistas semiestruturadas e em profundidade, a mulheres oriundas do Iraque, da Síria e da Líbia. É também a partir das suas perceções que se analisam questões de género e a forma como estas se relacionam com dimensões religiosas, familiares, sociais, psicológicas e culturais. A investigação coloca em evidência um acervo de vulnerabilidades desencadeadas pela experiência migratória e pela pertença de género, o que justifica a análise intersecional. Os resultados revelam um conjunto de adversidades no acolhimento, destacando-se: isolamento e distância familiar e do grupo social; dificuldades de acesso ao emprego qualificado; falta de suporte institucional; fracas condições habitacionais; desconhecimento da língua; desconhecimento dos serviços de saúde; não reconhecimento de grau académico e discriminação. Por outro lado, são identificados diversos fatores protetores que auxiliam a integração no país recetor, evidenciando-se: estabelecimento e manutenção de redes sociais; recurso a redes sociais digitais; segurança; emprego; domínio da língua; religião; suporte institucional; acesso à saúde; acesso à educação; participação cívica e política; desporto; questões de género relacionadas com empoderamento e maior autonomia. Espera-se que a presente investigação possa incentivar o debate e a reflexão sobre estratégias e políticas de integração em Portugal, promovendo medidas de atuação adequadas às necessidades de mulheres em contexto de migração forçada.This study aims to increase understanding of the psychosocial realities of women who arrived in Portugal as a result of forced migration by investigating the main challenges of the migratory trajectory as well as the main protective factors that facilitated their resilience, adaptation, and social integration processes. To that purpose, the protagonists' interpretations of their experiences were considered and collected through nine semi-structured and in-depth interviews with women born in Iraq, Syria, and Libya. Gender issues, as well as how they connect to religious, family, social, psychological, and cultural factors, are also examined. The investigation reveals a collection of vulnerabilities triggered by migration and gender, justifying an intersectional approach. The findings reveal a variety of adversities faced in the receiving country, including: isolation and distancing from family and social groups; access to qualified employment; a lack of institutional support; poor housing conditions; not speaking or understanding the language; lack of knowledge about how health services work; and discrimination. On the other hand, several protective factors were identified as aiding integration in the receiving country: establishment and maintenance of social relations; use of digital social networks; safety; employment; learning and mastering the language; religion; institutional support; access to health services; access to education; civic and political participation; sport; gender issues related to empowerment and greater autonomy.
