Primeiramente, estudarei as relações entre Portugal e a Sérvia das perspectivas históricas e diplomáticas, para depois me debruçar sobre o ensino da língua e cultura portuguesa na ex-Jugoslavia, destacando a actividade de tradução no processo da aproximação dos mundos lusófono e eslavo, concretamente sérvio. Um dos tópicos a analisar são os estereótipos que sobre Portugal se têm na Sérvia, antes e depois do contacto com a literatura, concluindo que o caminho da cooperação cultural ibérica e eslava está aberto, mas sempre com novas perspectivas a explorar.This paper aims to explain the reception of literatures in Portuguese language in the Serbian cultural space. Firstly, I will study the relations between Portugal and Serbia from historical and diplomatic perspectives, and afterwards I will focus on the teaching of the Portuguese language and culture in the former Yugoslavia, highlighting the translation activity in the process of approaching the Lusophone and Slavic worlds, namely Serbian world.
