Este projeto foi concretizado no âmbito do estudo da vida quotidiana na sociedade portuguesa, na segunda metade do século XIX, através do olhar de Júlio Dinis (1839-1871), escritor que era leitor do Jornal do Porto, onde foi sendo publicada a sua obra.This manuscript focuses on the study of Portuguese 19th century society, particularly the fifth and sixth decades. Through the pages of "O Jornal do Porto", a daily publication, it’s possible to identify the problems, the struggles and ‘zeitgeist’ of that time, as well as attempts at a political influence.
