O trabalho de investigação que aqui proponho é um estudo exploratório das atividades de
ensino e aprendizagem de instrumento de sopro com os alunos do 8º ano da Escola
Secundária Olavo Moniz na Ilha do Sal, Cabo Verde. A problemática e o objeto de estudo
centram-se no desenvolvimento da Educação Artística com relevo para a Educação e
Expressão Musical e a performance em contexto de aprendizagem.
A metodologia teórico-conceitual e empírica da pesquisa desenvolve-se através de uma
investigação-ação com a duração de seis meses, de fevereiro a junho de 2016. Porém, farei
uma retroação das ações dedicadas aos conceitos básicos da música e teoria musical que
antecede este período de pesquisa.
A interpretação dos dados do Projeto É_SOM de ensino de música traz à tona o contributo
da educação pela arte nas suas diferentes formas artísticas que mobilizam saberes para o
desenvolvimento pessoal, linguístico, estético-artístico e cultural dos jovens músicos.
Estou convencido da importância deste projeto, das aprendizagens significativas
conseguidas e do que virá no futuro e que aqui partilho, mas, sobretudo, por perspetivar o
Projeto É_SOM como um exemplo de boas práticas educativas, culturais e artísticas,
inspirado nas orientações internacionais e no Programa da Educação Artística de Cabo
Verde, que poderá de guia teórico-conceitual para a implementação de boas práticas
educativas.
The research I propose here is an exploratory study of the teaching and learning activities of
a wind instrument with the 8th year grade students of Olavo Moniz Secondary School in Sal
Island, Cape Verde. The problematic and the object of study of this work are focused on the
development of artistic education with emphasis on Education and Musical Expression and
the performance in a learning context.
The theoretical-conceptual and empirical methodology of the research is developed through
an investigation action with a duration of six months. February to June 2016. However, I
will do a retroaction of the actions dedicated to the basic concepts of music and music theory
that precedes this period of research.
The interpretation of data from the É_SOM Music Teaching Project brings to the fore the
contribution of education through art in its different artistic forms that mobilized knowledge
for the personal, linguistic, aesthetic-artistic and cultural development of young musicians.
I am convinced of the importance of this project, of the significant learnings acquired and
from what will happen in the future, which I share here. But, above all, for foresee the
É_SOM project as an example of good educational, cultural and artistic practices, inspired
on the International guidelines and from the Artistic Education program of Cape Verde that
should also inspire other teachers and schools in Cape Verde.
