Pretende-se estabelecer uma paralelo com o fator de uma elevada percentagem de utentes do Serviço Nacional de Saúde não terem médicos de família, e avaliar quais os maiores dificuldades sentidas por estes imigrantes na integração na sociedade de acolhimento e no reconhecimento e validação das suas competências profissionais para poderem desempenhar funções no sistema nacional de saúde Português. Pretende-se ainda explorar de que forma decorreu a sua integração em Portugal, quer em relação aos colegas, quer em relação aos utentes. Por fim avaliou-se o que pensam os utentes do Serviço Nacional de Saúde dos médicos estrangeiros a trabalhar em Portugal. This work has as objective the reflection on the integration of eastern doctors in Portugal, from the recognition of their literary qualifications to the finishing of the validation process of their abilities. It is intended to establish a parallel with the factor of one high percentage of usuaries of the National Service of Health who doint have family doctors, and to evaluate which the biggest difficulties felt for these immigrants in the integration in the society of shelter and the recognition and validation their professional abilities to be able to play functions in the national system of Portuguese health. One still intends to explore in which way their integration in Portugal occurred either in relation to the colleagues, or in relation to the usuaries.
