[S.l.]: [s.n.]. 2024. 158 p. http://hdl.handle.net/10400.2/16097 urn:tid:203650638 203650638 A dissertação de mestrado consiste, maioritariamente, na análise das imagens veiculadas pelas poesias da obra Fiestas Minervales y Aclamación, uma miscelânea, publicada em 1697, resultado de um certame literário encomiástico de enaltecimento ao arcebispo Alonso de Fonseca, figura de relevo para a cidade e para a Universidade de Santiago de Compostela, de que foi elemento fundador, no séc. XVI. A parte inicial do trabalho contém a identificação das principais representações imaginárias desta obra literária, a que se junta um estudo onde se reflete sobre os seus significados, incluindo diversas explicações. Após o comentário inicial inserimos uma reflexão comparativa entre este livro de poesias, impresso em Santiago de Compostela em 1697, Festas Minervais, e duas pinturas pertencentes ao período Barroco da Galiza. Mais concretamente, esta parte do estudo centra-se nas imagens presentes nas poesias da obra assinalada relacionando-as com duas representações figurativas, de temática funerária, que integram a pintura galega do mesmo período. Para finalizar, reflete-se sobre a comparação realizada, tendo em conta o contexto que viu nascer as duas obras. The master's thesis consists, mainly, in the analysis of the images conveyed by the poems of the work Fiestas Minervales y Aclamación, a miscellany, published in 1697, the result of an encomiastic literary event praising Archbishop Alonso de Fonseca, an important figure for the city and to the University of Santiago de Compostela, of which he was a founding member, in the 19th century. XVI. The initial part of the work contains the identification of the main imaginary representations of this literary work, to which is added a study reflecting on their meanings, including several explanations. After the initial comment, we insert a comparative reflection between this book of poetry, printed in Santiago de Compostela in 1697, Festas Minervais, and two paintings belonging to the Baroque period of Galicia. More specifically, this part of the study focuses on the images present in the poems of the highlighted work, relating them to two figurative representations, with a funerary theme, which are part of Galician painting from the same period.
