Seu objetivo foi investigar como professores e alunos concebem a violência, como a explicam e como lidam com a mesma no contexto escolar. Por análise das relações interpessoais que nela ocorrem, buscou-se entender a percepção do aluno e do professor a respeito do fenômeno, seja na condição de quem atua como agressor, como daquele que sofre ou observa os atos de violência;também das formas existentes de agressividade, e o que os motiva a praticarem esses atos. O estudo foi orientado na perspectiva das metodologias qualitativas, tendo a técnica de grupo focal como instrumento para coleta de dados. A população alvo da pesquisa foram alunos do 2º e 3º ano do ensino médio integral e professores na rede pública Estadual da cidade de Joinville S/C Brasil. Na investigação realizada, constatou-se que a existência da violência física e psicológica na escola decorre de vários caminhos externos, migrando das diversas vivências familiares e sociais, do frágil vínculo, da falta de compreensão e acolhimento às diversas demandassubjetivas, entendendo que a violência no espaço escolar tende a ser uma repetição daquelas vivências fora da escola, surpreendendo uma instituição as vezes despreparada no trato com a fereza. A violência praticada e sofrida pelo jovem, confere consequências imediatas sobre o processo de ensino-aprendizagem, deixando marcas de eclosão na idade adulta. Para os docentes a violência na escola pode ocorrer através de vários formatos, advindo tanto do aluno como do professor – como aquelas “brincadeiras” que tendem a gerar desconforto e indignação e podem favorecer o exercício da agressividade. As agressões sobre o professor foram constatadas através das agressões verbais, calúnias e injúrias – deixando os docentes às vezes em “pânico”, inibidos, sentindo-se desprotegidos e indefesos. Concluímos com essa investigação que é urgente fazer uma escuta acolhedora às diversas vulnerabilidades de alunos, pais e professores, concernentes às demandas subjetivas, com foco nas histórias de vida, buscando propiciar o reconhecimento das humanidades que habita em cada um, e assim reinventar outras formas de convivência e consequentemente a diminuição da violência no ambiente escolar. This research focuses on violence at school. Its objective was to investigate how teachers and students conceive violence, how they explain it, and how they deal with it in the school context. By analyzing the interpersonal relationships that occur in it, we sought to understand the perception of the student and the teacher about the phenomenon, whether in the condition of those who act as aggressors, or those who suffer or observe acts of violence; also the existing forms of aggressiveness, and what motivates them to perform these acts. The study was guided from the perspective of qualitative methodologies, using the focus group technique as an instrument for data collection. The target population of the research was students from the 2nd and 3rd year of high school and teachers in the state public network within the city of Joinville S/C Brazil. In the carried out investigation, it was found that the existence of physical and psychological violence at school stems from various external paths, migrating from different family and social experiences, from the fragile bond, from the lack of understanding and acceptance of the various subjective demands, understanding that violence in the school environment tends to be a repetition of those experiences outside the school, surprising an institution that is sometimes unprepared to deal with ferocity. The violence practiced and suffered by the young person confers immediate consequences on the teaching-learning process, leaving marks of an outbreak in adulthood. For teachers, violence at school can occur through various formats arising from both the student and the teacher-such as those "jokes" that tend to generate discomfort and indignation and can favor the exercise of aggressiveness. The aggressions against the teacher were verified through verbal aggressions, slander, and insults – sometimes leaving teachers in a "panic", inhibited, feeling unprotected and defenseless.
