Cascais: [s.n.], 2020. 358 p. http://hdl.handle.net/10400.2/10666 urn:tid:202707474 202707474 A presente dissertação intitulada “Os desafios do multiculturalismo: a importância da língua portuguesa como elemento de inclusão no percurso emocional e pessoal do aluno de PLNM” pretende demonstrar a importância a aprendizagem da língua não materna como um elemento propulsor da inclusão social de quem é estrangeiro e procura a integração, quer a nível social, quer pessoal, num país diferente do seu país de origem. A forma como essa aprendizagem é concretizada deve tomar, como ponto crucial, a integração e a adaptação a novos contextos culturais e sociais, bem como a receção e a incorporação dos alunos como elemento fundamental para o sucesso pedagógico-social de inclusão. Através desta dissertação, pretende-se evidenciar, expor e demonstrar a importância da língua e da sua aprendizagem enquanto “fio” condutor de cultura e valores sociais a nível da identidade linguística, mas, acima de tudo, a forma como essa aprendizagem deve funcionar como “porta” para a inclusão, onde a relação emocional e pessoal do aluno estrangeiro com a língua que o acolhe (no nosso caso, a língua portuguesa) e com certos vocábulos e/ou expressões que lhe são mais próximas, é o elemento essencial para uma aprendizagem plena, geradora de uma emotividade positiva, enquanto foco de interação pluricultural e plurilingue. Ao longo da presente dissertação, pretende-se, ainda, demonstrar a necessidade de existência de um tronco comum de proximidade entre a língua não materna (a língua portuguesa) e aslínguas maternas ou faladas pelo aprendente, gerador de “sentimentos positivos” e de empatia entre as línguas, como elemento fundamental para uma aprendizagem motivadora, prazerosa e cativante para o aluno de Português LNM. Por esse motivo, reconhece-se a necessidade de atender ao percurso emocional do indivíduo, como elo agilizador da aprendizagem e do saber. Reflete-se, ainda, sobre as metodologias e práticas pedagógicas atuais do Português LNM, sugerindo-se um posicionamento do ensino baseado nas emoções individuais do aluno aprendente. The present dissertation entitled “Os desafios do multiculturalismo: a importância da língua portuguesa como elemento de inclusão no percurso emocional e pessoal do aluno de PLNM” intents to demonstrate the importance of the non-native language learning process as a social inclusion boosting element for those who are foreign and seek integration, both socially and personally, in a country different than that of origin. The way that learning process is fulfilled must address, as a fundamental aspect, the integration and adaptation to new cultural and social environments as well as the reception and annexation of foreign students as a fundamental element to the social and pedagogical inclusion success. It is intended to highlight, expose and demonstrate, through this dissertation, the importance of the language and its learning process as a means to transmit culture and social values on the linguistic identity level but, above all, the way that learning process should empower inclusion, where the foreign student personal and emotional relation with the language that welcomes him (in our case, the Portuguese language) and with certain words and/or expressions that are more close to him is the key element to a full learning experience and which generates a positive emotionality, while focus of pluricultural and plurilingual interaction. It is still intended throughout this present dissertation to demonstrate the need of the existence of a common trunk of proximity between the non-native language (the Portuguese language) and the student’s native language, which provides “positive feelings” and those of empathy between both languages, as an essential element towards a motivating learning process, pleasant and engaging to the non-native Portuguese language (PLNM) student. For that reason, it is acknowledged the need to address the individual emotional journey, as a learning and knowledge facilitating link.
